Christmas Masses

The following is the Mass schedule for the holy feast of Christmas:

Sung Mass beginning at Midnight, preceded by a half hour of Christmas Carols at St Peter & Paul's Church, Garran

7:45 AM (Dawn Mass) Low Mass at St Thomas More Parish, Campbell.

10 AM (Christmas Day Mass) St Peter & Paul's Church, Garran.

Advent Recollection Talks



Fr Blust will give two Advent Recollections:

Ember Wednesday 14 Dec:  

Advent Recollection for Women:

 A 20 minute talk followed by a Holy Hour, ending with Benediction.
Confessions will be heard during the Holy Hour.
Time: 7PM
Place: St Peter & Paul's, Garran.

Ember Saturday 17 Dec: 

Advent Recollection for Men:

A 20 minute talk followed by a Holy Hour, ending with Benediction.
Confessions will be heard during the Holy Hour.
Time: 10:30 AM
Place: St Peter & Paul's, Garran.

Feast of St Mary of the Cross

Mass for the 1st class feast of St Mary of the Cross will be at the normal time of 7 AM this Monday, the 8th of August.

Queens Birthday Holiday

Monday 13 June, Mass will be at 9am at St Peter & Paul's, Garran

2 Feb Feast of the Purification of the BVM (Candlemas) & 3 Feb Feast of St Blaise


A Missa Cantata will be offered on Tuesday 2nd Feb for Candlemas at 7 PM; there will be no Mass in the morning.

Everyone is welcome to bring candles made with (at least a portion of) beeswax to be blessed for home use. A procession immediately follows the blessing and distribution of candles, followed by Mass. The primary purpose of the blessing of candles is for use at the altar.


On Wednesday 3 Feb, after the 7 AM Mass, there will be a blessing of throats through the intercession of St Blaise, bishop and martyr. The blessing will also be available after the Masses on Sunday.
